How to use 因为…而
Subject + 因为 + cause + 而 + resulting predicate
因为…而 ties a reason closely to its effect within the sentence. The cause follows 因为, and 而 leads into the resulting action or state. This is common in careful explanations where the speaker wants the causal relationship to be explicit. The pattern can describe decisions, emotional reactions, or changes brought about by circumstances, rather than only large external events.
A shared subject commonly comes before the 因为 phrase, and the resulting predicate follows 而 without needing a separate subject. Keep both parts structurally connected. 而 has many other linking uses, so its causal reading depends on the preceding reason phrase. Unlike a purpose construction, this pattern explains why the result arises rather than what someone hopes to enable.
