Sentence pattern
再 points to an additional occurrence that has not happened at the reference point. It is useful in requests, plans, and suggestions: try once more, say it again, or come back another day.
Put 再 before the verb. Add 一次 when counting an occurrence, or 一遍 when asking for a complete pass through something such as a sentence or recording. Compare 又, which often reports a repetition that has already occurred. This lesson concerns repetition; 再 also has other uses in sequences and conditions.

The speaker is requesting the next reading, so 再 fits. 又 would normally report an additional occurrence rather than request it.
