How to use 鉴于
鉴于 + relevant circumstance,decision / conclusion
鉴于 introduces a circumstance taken into account when reaching a decision or conclusion. It resembles in view of or in light of, and is common in formal explanations, announcements, and recommendations. The phrase frames the following statement as a considered response to the situation. It is more specific than simply naming a topic someone wants to discuss.
Place 鉴于 before the relevant fact or circumstance, usually at the beginning of the sentence. The next clause states the action, judgment, or suggestion that follows from considering it. Keep the relationship clear: the first part provides grounds for the response, while the second explains what those grounds lead the speaker or organization to decide.
