How to use 的
⋯⋯的
At the end of some statements, 的 expresses the speaker’s confidence in what they are saying. It can make a prediction reassuring, a promise firm, or a reminder more emphatic. This use concerns the speaker’s attitude toward the whole statement; it is different from the 的 that links a modifier to a noun.
会 and 一定会 often appear in these confident predictions, but future reference is not required. Final 的 also appears when reminding someone of an earlier visit or conversation. Keep the complete proposition before 的. The particle does not itself provide evidence or change the time of the event, and its tone depends on the surrounding context.
