How to use 在…内
在 + time period + 内 + predicate
在…内 places an event or result within a bounded period. It can describe a deadline, a plan for completion, or a change that occurred during a stated interval. The structure brackets the time expression between a preposition and a location word, treating the period as a space with limits. The exact starting point may come from an explicit reference or the surrounding discussion.
Put the complete time phrase between 在 and 内, then state what happens within those bounds. Future intervals can include words identifying the coming period, while past accounts rely on context for their reference point. The phrase does not mean after the period has passed, and it need not imply that the action occupies every moment of the interval.
