How to use 结果
Reason / Condition ,结果 + Result
结果 can introduce what followed from a preceding situation or sequence. The background comes first, and 结果 begins the clause giving the outcome. English may use “as a result,” “in the end,” or “ended up,” depending on whether the sentence emphasizes a consequence or the way events developed.
Some outcomes follow the listener's expectations, while others are surprising or unwelcome. The construction itself does not guarantee a positive or negative judgment. It also does not prove that a causal explanation is objectively correct; it presents the relationship the speaker is describing. Keep this linking use separate from 结果 as a noun meaning an outcome. The sentence structure reveals which role it plays.
