How to use 反正
反正
反正 presents a conclusion that remains the same despite other possibilities or objections. A preceding clause may describe the alternatives, often with 不管, and the 反正 clause states the position that does not change. It can sound determined, indifferent, or practical depending on what the speaker treats as irrelevant to the decision.
The word also introduces a reason the speaker considers sufficient for a proposed action. In that use, English may translate it as anyway or in any case. Put 反正 before the relevant clause or predicate rather than treating it as an unrestricted filler. The relationship should be clear: either circumstances do not alter the conclusion, or an established fact supports the choice.
